Houman Rashidian is a clinician educator in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. Clinically, he practices at Mississauga Hospital and Trillium Health Partners. His primary areas of practice include inpatient adult and geriatric psychiatry.
He also follows patients in an outpatient clinic, primarily those with primary psychotic and bipolar disorders. Furthermore, he has an interest in clinical teaching, working directly with medical students and psychiatry residents in clinical settings, as well as serving on a committee dedicated to postgraduate resident performance.
Lastly, he has research experience, particularly regarding metabolic parameters and their effects on treatment response in depressive episodes.
