Dr. Alexander G. Bahadur completed the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry subspecialty training program at the University of Toronto. He completed his medical doctorate training at the University of Ottawa, and his Bachelor of Health Sciences at McMaster University. He is currently working with Dr. Petal Abdool, Dr. Sanjeev Sockalingam, and members of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) Simulation Centre team to explore the use of immersive virtual reality to enhance simulation-based psychiatric medical education.
KEARNEY, Hannah
Before starting her residency training, she received her Honours Bachelors of Science (2017), Master of Science in Psychology (2018), and Doctor of Medicine (2021) degrees at McMaster University. Her clinical interests include acute care psychiatry, gender-inclusive care, and quality improvement. Dr. Kearney, a former Chief Resident at CAMH, is also passionate about medical education and resident wellbeing.
SINGHAL, Nikhita
Dr. Nikhita Singhal completed the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry subspecialty training program at the University of Toronto. Dr. Singhal completed her undergraduate degree and medical training at McMaster University. She is passionate about social justice and advocacy work, contributing to psychiatric education, and exploring novel and innovative emerging treatments including psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. She hopes to pursue subspecialty training in child and adolescent psychiatry; areas of clinical interest include substance use and eating disorders. Her Clinician Scholar Program project is focused on enhancing child and adolescent psychiatry training in equity, diversity, and inclusion principles through the development of virtual modules, with a focus on integrating input from youth and families with lived experience. She is also engaged in several other education scholarship initiatives (including through the PsychEd Podcast) as well as research focused on psychedelics.
