Dr. Panjwani subsequently completed a two-year clinical and research post-doctoral fellowship in psychosocial oncology in the DSC.

At PM, Dr. Panjwani is conducting research in medical assistance in dying as well as in the early endometrial cancer and adolescent/young adult oncology populations to understand and address patients’ psychological distress (e.g., fear of cancer recurrence, distress around [in]fertility, cancer-specific distress) through the development of evidence-based clinical programming. Dr. Panjwani is interested in identifying intrapersonal mechanisms (i.e., experiential avoidance) and interpersonal moderators (e.g., social support) of psychological and behavioural health outcomes in cancer patients and their informal caregivers.
