2019 - 2024 External Awards

Every year, our community members receive a variety of awards and honours in recognition of their achievements and excellence in the field of psychiatry. The following is a summary of some the honours received from 2019 to 2024.

Dr. Jodi Lofchy – appointed a Member of the American College of Psychiatrists.

Dr. Monica Malta - Gender Equality Award from the Canadian Partnership for Women and Children’s Health (CanWaCH).

Dr. Christopher McIntosh - elected Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

Dr. Shelley McMain – Award for Achievement in the Field of Severe Personality Disorders from the Borderline Personality Disorder Resource Center and the Steering Committee of the Personality Studies Institute.

Dr. Jeffrey Meyer - 2020 Innovations in Neuropsychopharmacology Award from the Canadian College of Neuropsychopharmacology.

Dr. Suneeta Monga - award for best oral presentation at the recent Canadian Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry meeting in Quebec City.

Dr. Daniel Mueller - CIHR Project Grant Fall 2019 for his project Predicting antidepressant remission in late-life depression using polygenic risk scoring and machine learning models.
