Dr. Furqan is a Clinician-Investigator at the University Health Network. She works in the outpatient setting, providing psychiatric services to the Community Mental Health Clinic and the Urgent Care Clinic. Her research is focused on suicide prevention, understanding lived experiences of people who use mental health services, and cultural dimensions of psychiatry.
