Dr. Jain completed her BSc in Biomedical Science at the University of Ottawa and Medical Doctorate at St. George's University School of Medicine. Dr. Jain went on to complete residency in psychiatry at Albany Medical Center and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where she was chief fellow. She is presently a staff psychiatrist at The Slaight Centre Early Intervention Service (SCEIS) providing outpatient services for first episode psychosis. Dr. Jain supervises psychiatry trainees at the University of Toronto. Primary models of treatment include trauma informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing and evidence based psychopharmacology.
