Dr. Anne Duffy is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and a Full Professor and Research Chair in Youth Mental Health at the University of Calgary. Dr. Duffy is a psychiatrist whose research has focused on describing the development of severe, persistent and recurring mood disorders and associated complications (suicide and substance use disorders) in youth people at familial high-risk. She collaborates with researchers and laboratories at the University of Toronto on genetic studies and peripheral risk and illness progression biomarkers. Clinically, Dr. Duffy works with family members at risk of bipolar and unipolar disorders and focuses particularly on transitional age youth (15-25 years of age). Currently she is the Medical and Academic Director of the Mood Disorders Program at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary. For more information please see website: www.flourishresearch.com.
