Dr. Yezarni Wynn (he/him) is an attending psychiatrist at St. Michael’s Hospital. He is a clinical lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. He is a part of the Consultation/Liaison Psychiatry Division, and his clinical role includes consulting on patients admitted to medical and surgical units at St. Michael’s Hospital, outpatient care in the Medical Psychiatry Clinic and the Urgent Care Program. He is also the attending psychiatrist to integrated clinics on the Dialysis Unit and at McEwan Housing and Support Services, a LOFT community housing setting supporting people living with HIV/AIDS with comorbid mental health and/or substance use issues. He has special clinical interests in HIV Psychiatry, 2SLGBTQI+ mental health, and serving marginalized populations both near and far. He has trained primarily at St. Michael’s Hospital as a resident at the University of Toronto, working closely with populations experiencing homelessness, medical complexity and substance use disorders. He has also engaged in clinical and scholarly work in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and Iqaluit, Nunavut. Dr. Wynn looks forward to continuing to provide care to diverse patient populations in Toronto, as well as help train medical students and residents in his role as a Clinician Teacher.
