Dr. Isinger completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Toronto. He is currently a staff psychiatrist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health [CAMH] in the Schizophrenia Division. He works in inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as the emergency department. Dr. Isinger provides consultation to patients and psychiatric colleagues as part of the Medication Assessment Program for Schizophrenia [MAPS] at CAMH. Other clinical interests include working with patients who have severe and persistent mental illness [SPMI] as well as helping to manage or prevent the metabolic impacts of psychotropic medications, which features in his work with patients in the CAMH Clozapine Clinic and Mental Health and CAMH Mental Health and Metabolism Clinic. Dr. Isinger is actively involved in supervision of medical students and residents physicians.
