Tamina Eapen

Dr. Tamina Eapen, MD, FRCPC, is a graduate of the University of Ottawa Medical School.  She trained in psychiatry at the University of Ottawa as well, where she received a well-balanced education in general psychiatry.  Dr. Eapen has been practicing general psychiatry since 2011 and was the director of the inpatient unit at the Montfort Hospital in Ottawa until she moved to work at the Centre for Addictions and Mental Health in Toronto in 2014.  Her interests include education and clinical excellence, and she was the Site Education Director for psychiatry at the Montfort Hospital in Ottawa.  At CAMH, Dr. Eapen has been nominated for physician of the year and for Clinician-Teacher of the year.  She hopes to continue her work in general psychiatry with a focus on acute care psychiatry, in addition to furthering her ability to foster clinical skills in medical students and residents.
