Dr. Mitesh Patel is the Chief of Psychiatry at Youthdale Treatment Centres and the Program Director of the Psychiatry Residency Program at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). He is one of the few dually qualified Child, Adolescent, and Forensic Psychiatrists in Canada, bringing expertise in developmental neuropsychiatry, youth mental health in at-risk environments, and forensic mental health including criminal responsibility, fitness to stand trial, and risk assessments. He holds a Master of Science in Community Health with a focus on Health Practitioner Teacher Education (MScCH:HPTE), and has published widely as an Education Scholar. |
