Mahtab Asadabadi

Dr. Mahtab Asadabadi completed her first psychiatry residency at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran before undertaking a second psychiatry residency in Canada. She has been a full-time staff psychiatrist at Humber River Hospital since early 2022. In addition to seeing patients in the Mental Health Outpatient Clinic, Dr. Asadabadi serves as the Physician Lead for both the Trauma Education Program and the Emotional Regulation Skills Program. Her clinical interests include the integration of evidence-based psychotherapy modalities into psychiatric treatment, with a focus on chronic depression, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related conditions.
