John Langley
Dr. Langley has a strong interest in community and adolescent psychiatry and he has worked with street-involved youth for many years. He provides psychiatric consultation to several inner city agencies including Covenant House, the Youth Hostel Outreach Program, Central Toronto Youth Services, and the New Outlook Youth Justice Program. He is also the medical director of the STEPS for Youth program at St. Michael’s Hospital, a program for early intervention in psychosis. He is the medical director of community mental health programs at St. Michael’s Hospital and a board member for the Inner City Health Associates. Dr. Langley is the former program director for postgraduate education, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is a member of the specialty committee for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Royal College. He is also a member of the exam board for General Psychiatry.
