Hira Safdar

I completed my MBBS from the University of Karachi- Jinnah Medical and Dental College in 2007. Then I completed my internship in 2008 at Hamad Medical Corporation- Qatar. After completing my internship, I started working as a psychiatry resident and completed my residency in 2012. Before moving to Canada, I worked as a specialist in Qatar for a few years. I secured an international scholarship at McMaster University as a Clinical Fellow in forensic. This clinical fellowship helped me with learning exceptional skills required in psychiatry. In the past few years, I have worked as an Adult Clinical psychiatrist at Providence Healthcare hospital- Kingston and London Health Sciences Center. I’m honoured and excited to start my new journey at CAMH.
