Carrol Zhou
MD, FRCPC

Carrol Zhou is a clinician-teacher in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto. She completed her medical school as well as psychiatry residency at the University of Toronto. She practices at North York General. Her clinical areas of interest include management of the inpatient eating disorder population, dialectical behavioral therapy, addiction psychiatry, as well as management of patients and caregivers during and post critical illness. Her clinical work is diverse and includes eating disorders, CL psychiatry, general adult mental health, emergency psychiatry and the DBT-informed Day Hospital Program. She enjoys working with all populations, including women, members of the LGBTQIA2+ community and individuals with a history of trauma. She also has a special interest in medical education and welcomes any learners for shadowing/elective opportunities.
