Topic: Research (with guest speakers Drs. Anne Sonley and June Lam)

This discussion will focus on the experiences, opportunities, and challenges associated with leading and conducting research as 2SLGBTQIA+ faculty members in the department. Conversation topics will include finding research mentorship, unique barriers for clinician-scientists, and conducting research with communities you share personal connection with (i.e., insider research). We look forward to hearing your perspectives and questions!

• Wednesday March 26th, 2025 (12pm-1pm): Systemic vs Personal Change with Dr. Mamta Gautam (co-hosted by the UPWURD, Racialised Women and Status-Only Mentorship Groups). This event is open to ALL faculty members.
