Dr. Senthuran Gunaratnam is a General Adult Psychiatrist. He is an international medical graduate who obtains his MBBS from the University of Jaffna, Sri Lank and completed his psychiatric residency training at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. He works as a Staff Psychiatrist in the Department of Psychiatry at the Scarborough Health Network. Indeed, he is one of the very few psychiatrists who is fluent in Tamil and is mindful of cultural barriers in treating Canadian Tamils with mental health challenges. He also practices as a physician lead for the community liaison program at Durham Mental Health Services.
