Dr Herrmann is the Richard Lewar Chair in Geriatric Psychiatry at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and the University of Toronto. He is a Scientist in the Hurvitz Brain Sciences Research Program at Sunnybrook and is Co-Director of the Clinical Neuropharmacology Laboratory. He is Head of the Division of Geriatric Psychiatry at Sunnybrook and was Head of the University of Toronto’s Division of Geriatric Psychiatry from 1994-2005.
Research Synopsis
Dr Herrmann's research focuses on the pharmacological management of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias including clinical trials for cognitive enhancement, disease modification and management of neuropsychiatric symptoms.
