Dafna Kahana, MD (she/her), is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. As an international medical graduate, Dr. Kahana moved to Toronto to complete a clinical research fellowship in addiction at the University of Toronto and CAMH, where she now works as a staff psychiatrist and clinician-scientist.
Her clinical and research interests focus on the intersection of addictions and mental health among adolescents and emerging adults, with a particular emphasis on the impact of sex assigned at birth and gender on mental health and substance use behaviours.
