Dr. Krakowski is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and works as a Child Psychiatrist at the Hospital for Sick Children. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toronto and completed her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency while enrolled in the Clinician Scientist Program at the University of Toronto. Dr. Krakowski also completed a Master’s degree at the Institute of Medical Science at the University of Toronto, and is completing a second Master’s degree in the Clinical Epidemiology and Health Care Research Program at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Krakowski’s research focuses on the comorbidity between autism and ADHD. She is interested in determining whether autism and ADHD are separate disorders when looking at their symptom profiles and whether we should be considering a different way of classifying the two disorders. She has received research funding from the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the O’Brien Scholars Fund.
