Global Mental Health Day Announcement & Call for Abstracts

The University of Toronto Department of Psychiatry is excited to announce our inaugural Global Mental Health Day, to take place virtually on June 2, 2022.

The Global Mental Health Day will showcase the international mental health research, education, and development initiatives undertaken by members of the department, the University of Toronto, partner organizations, and beyond, with the aim of fostering collaborations and creating a community of practice for those committed to improving mental health outcomes on a global scale. To learn more about this event, see the attached program.

We are now accepting abstracts for symposia portion of the event. Relevant work can include research projects, educational collaborations/initiatives, or practitioner reflections on practice within international healthcare systems. Submissions from international medical graduate (IMG) trainees are highly encouraged.

Abstracts should be limited to 300 words and submitted through the link below no later than April 29, 2022. For more information, contact: rafal.ramzi@utoronto.ca.

Abstract submissions should be limited to 300 words and include a title, background information, learning objectives, conclusions, and two key references. For research projects, methods and results should also be included.
